Small group personal training is the most popular offering at Finney Fitness. There is nothing quite like it in the St. Louis area. Each week, I design a personalized workout for every woman in the gym. Sessions are small to provide hands-on, individualized assistance. The group dynamic provides plenty of support and encouragement along with a lot of fun. This is a challenging workout that will help you achieve your fitness goals.

I guide each woman through her 60-minute session, modifying for fitness level and special areas of concern. All personal training sessions feature customized cardio and strength training.

Personal Training

  • Small group personal training is available by appointment only. Please allow approximately 60 minutes for your workout. There is a standing schedule each week (mornings and evenings). Typically 4 women are training at the same time. No matter what your fitness level, everyone is kept focused and challenged in order to meet their personal fitness goals! ($25 per session)

  • Semi-private personal training for two women is scheduled by appointment only. ($35 per person, per session)

  • One-on-one personal training is scheduled by appointment only. ($70 per session)

Having received my personal training certification from the American Council on Exercise, I blend 20 years of nursing experience with my passion for fitness to provide the best in health and wellness to my clients. My goal is simple—assist those striving to live healthier lives.

I firmly believe, based on 20 years in the medical field, that we must do more to prevent injuries and illnesses, such as type 2 diabetes, arthritis,osteoporosis, elevated blood pressure and high cholesterol. Education is the key to a healthier lifestyle. Whether you are a new mom trying to lose extra baby weight or a middle ager trying to lower cholesterol or blood pressure, education and healthy lifestyle choices are an integral part of the answer. I can provide you with the necessary tools to achieve optimal nutrition and lead a more active lifestyle through exercise.

Having been previously employed as a personal trainer at Wellbridge in Clayton, MO, I now work closely with Cindy Finney at Finney Fitness offering personal, semi-personal and small group personal training. Private in-home training and outdoor training is also available for my clients’ convenience. Each new client will receive personal consultation including a health assessment (full body, BMI and body fat assessments) and determination of individual fitness goals.
